Wedding Walk Bridal Show

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of being one of the many host our our first annual East Side Wedding Walk here in Frederick MD. After months of planning the day finally arrived and it was a huge success. Registered Brides received a goodie bag and walked from store to store in search of their wedding dreams. As the visited each vendor they had a chance to look, sample and even get photographed. Our goal was to inform them on all the wonderful vendors and stores that are available for them right here in downtown frederick and even more importantly, right here in Everedy Square and Shab Row. With over 20 stores here there was a lot to see. It was very different than a traditional bridal show where you usually only have a 6 or 8 foot table to show your wares.

Here we had a chance to get these potential customers right in front of us in our very own stores. Here at our studio we offered a lot of our work for them to look at, I gave many little presentations on our work and pricing structure and we took a quick fun photograph of each bride before she moved on to the next location. I think the vibe was good and everyone had a good time. We ended the day with a Merchant Mingle and Danielle's Restaurant where each vendor gave out a prize. All in all it was a positive event and one that I hope continues in the future. High School Seniors 2011

At Turner Photography WE LOVE TO SHOOT SENIORS! This is our opportunity to be as creative as we can and give each and every senior something that will knock their socks off. Our sessions are catered to you and what you want. We give you the opportunity to choose your locations, your outfits, your style and we capture it all. Maria & Scott

Video Capture is new to us at Turner Photography but we are trying very hard to incorporate clips in our clients slideshows. Maria and Scott will be married on May 21st this year and this is their engagement session. Its always fun to work with these couples before the wedding day and work out some of the nerves. Most people are very uncomfortable in front of the camera but the engagement session really helps relieve the anxiety and makes your wedding photos that much more pleasurable. Congratulations to Maria and Scott!

New High School Senior Website

2011 is bringing about a lot of new things at Turner Photography and a dedicated High School Senior website is one of them.

The new website (www.turnerphotographyseniors.com) will give our seniors a place for themselves. Not only will the site be dedicated totally to seniors but it will be a place where they can share their photos with their friends, get great information on what our sessions consist of, get helpful tips on what to expect in your session and its just plain cool! We will be continually updating the site with new pictures and new information.

We are trying very hard to promote our senior business in many ways and the best way is to have the Juniors and Seniors talk about us. We have started a wonderful Senior Rep Program at Turner Photography this year and are looking for qualified students to become our reps. We call this our Senior Ambassador Program. This is a great way for select juniors or seniors to earn great products through us and all they have to do is talk about us! With each referral the rep brings us they will have the opportunity to earn! Its as simple as that!

Turner Photography makes your senior session fun and memorable. We want your photographs to say something about who you are, thats why we schedule a pre-shoot consultation with every one of our seniors so they can get a good idea of what to expect and we can come up with the perfect session for you.....

2011 Begins!!

The New Year has begun & i just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for keeping up with everything that goes on with me. Thank you to all my clients from 2010, i really enjoyed capturing your special moments from your Weddings to Babies growing to Seniors graduating from High School. Every moment was dear to your heart & I'm just honored that you allowed me to capture those special memories for you. I look forward to what this year will bring & along with capturing new clients memories i will be making some new memories of my own.

As you all know i am getting Married this year so i am looking forward to the excitement that will bring & along with myself getting married my twin brother will be getting married this year as well. I will be sharing my experiences & the process it takes to get to that special day with all of you. I hope that it will not only bring you into my life a little but it will maybe help you with some of your own decisions for your own weddings.

The Wilkinson Family
