Lindsay & Nick got married at the Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown, VA. It's a beautiful historic location with open fields surrounding every way you turn. The one thing we were not expecting to have was snow but that's what we got. Snow in October was just crazy but it definitely added even more beauty to the grounds with the fall leave colors & white snow. Lindsay & Nick were troopers that bared the cold so they could take advantage of the beauty that surrounded them. There were also many great locations inside the plantation as well. We got a lot of amazing images from their day. They were a sweet couple & we wish them Many Years of Happiness!

Jamie & Jon's Maternity Session

A Maternity Session is a way to show how beautiful it is to bring a new life into the world. An expecting mothers glow, the look of excitement on the face of the father to be, The love that is shared between these 2 people that are about to become 3. I love to highlight the tender relationship between mom and dad and show that bringing a child into their world is love in its purest form. Jamie and Jon were perfect examples of this. They were absolutely the easiest couple that I ever photographed and their devoted and loving relationship is evident in our photographs.. To bring out the joy and happiness of having a baby is a special thing and to capture it in our studio was a pure joy. A pregnancy is a very joyous lifetime experience and to preserve this moment is just

awesome. Our Maternity sessions last about 90 minutes and are focused on love, emotions, the beauty of the belly and your relationship with the ones who love you. You may choose to be photographed alone, with your husband, your children and even others that are important in your life and in you new child's life. Our photographs will tell a story and be heirlooms forever. Our studio hours are very flexible and many of our sessions are shot on location or at your home. There is a world of things we can do so please do not hesitate to ask.

Erin & Greg got married at a church in Frederick, MD & then had their reception at Boulder Ridge in Ski Liberty. It was so pretty at Ski Liberty around that time of year & the trees were just beautiful which made for amazing pictures outside. They were a sweet couple & i had fun photographing their day. Alex & Nicole got married at Ceresville Mansion. I have photographed there many times & it's a beautiful location. I happened to be photographing another wedding the same day so my brother actually worked on this wedding. He does such great work that when i'm unable to be there, he takes charge. It looked like it was a beautiful day & a great wedding! We wish them many years of Happiness!

Ashley & Dan got married at Strong Mansion in Dickerson, MD. This was my first time photographing here & it was just breath taking! Rebecca & Chris 9/24/11

In Late September we had the pleasure of photographing a unique wedding in Bealleville MD at the Am Kolel Sanctuary Retreat. This was the first time I had worked here so I was excited to shoot in a new location. The weather was rainy the night before but the clouds broke just in time for the wedding and we took advantage of the beautiful setting. Rebecca and Chris were a charming couple and they put a lot of thought into the things they wanted. Although the ground was wet we made sure we used as many locations as we could to do photography. The long country lane was a beautiful setting as was the field dotted with purple flora. The scenery presented itself perfectly for the simple, retro attire of the bride and groom and they did a wonderful job in front of the camera. Most people tend to be very shy and it is my job to make them feel comfortable. Chris and Rebecca did a great job at relaxing and getting into the photography and it definitely shows. Dana & John 9/17/11

Dana & John's wedding took place at the 1840's Ballroom in Baltimore & it was a really cool place! Located in downtown Baltimore, the site was amazing and a wonderful place to have a wedding. Dana was a stunning bride and John was making us all laugh with his wit and charm. They had a great reception and the dance floor was packed the whole night. These two were awesome to work with and it was a great wedding. We wish them many years of happiness!

Kat & Josh 9/10/11

Kat & Josh were married at Cortland Mansion in Historic Hagerstown MD. I have worked there many times & I always enjoy trying to come up with new creative images. Kat & Josh were a great couple to photography and they were all about having fun. I build a great relationship with the 2 of them over the past year and they really loosened up and let me be creative. Their wedding party was a blast and we were able to get a lot of cool photographs. I also enjoy capturing the emotions in the room from laughter to tears. No matter how many times i have seen a bride cry when she dances with her father, it still touches me. It was a beautiful wedding & I wish them a life time of happiness!

Fall Family Portraits

Every year here at Turner Photography we try and pick various times through the year to run family promotions and this years Fall Family Sessions went spectacular. We have a wonderful location that we use not far from the studio and the scenery is terrific. Our fall promotion may have been cut a little short this year with the early snow but if the weather get nice again we may be able fit in a few more sessions. Outdoor late fall and early winter sessions work great as well. This really gives the family an opportunity to spend some time coming together and having a little family fun! We generally help you with some ideas on your clothing and we always help you with posing. Usually we bring some great ideas and a simple chair or stool to ad to the scene. No group is to big or to small and we try to schedule each family back to back. Our Fall promotion is $125 for the session fee and includes about 40 proofs to choose from. We give you 5 images to share with your friends on Facebook and ordering is done with a separate appointment in our studio. From these sessions you can order an array of prints, enlargements, canvases, wall portraits, gifts, christmas cards and just a variety of cool products.

Sharon & Justin were married in Middletown, MD! I love photographing in Middletown cause it's such a beautiful historic place. Sharon & Justin were married at the Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown which is such a cool little historic church. Then we headed over to the famous Hollow Creek Golf Club for their reception. It was a nice wedding & we wish them many years of happiness!
