Bethany & Nicholas 9/22/2012

Ceremony & Reception Site:
       Chanteclaire Farm
    Deep Creek Lake, MD

Each year we wait and wonder form the beginning of the season which couple will have our "dream " wedding of the year. We typically have over 30 weddings that we photograph and all of them are wonderful, but their are usually 1 or 2 that stand out in terms of creativeness and just the pure joy of photographing. Bethany and Nicholas were at the top this year. From the second we started shooting in the morning until the time we finished late in the night I just knew that these pictures were going to be something special.  Bethany and Nick were married in beautiful Western Maryland at the Chanteclaire Farm near Deep Creek Lake. Everything about this place was gorgeous. It had an incredible country lane that in years past was featured with some very famous horses in a beer commercial. The grounds were beautiful and there was no shortage of barns, old buildings, a lake and of course lots of smiling people. These 2 were the nicest, most accommodating people and they let us d our thing... and sometimes out thing can go on for a long time! We just couldn't stop taking pictures. Bethany and Nick were married on the porch overlooking the lake to a slight drizzle of rain, but honestly it didn't bother anyone.  After their nuptials we did some quick family groupings then the creativity began. Bethany and Nick were good sports and they let us move them around to many places. They even agreed to the entire wedding party throwing beer cans at the camera!  The reception was held in the Chanteclaire barn, which is a beautifully renovated historic barn. The food was arranged in a large canoe and after dinner the dancing began, and they danced ALL NIGHT LONG! I got tired just watching people dance. The DJ did an amazing job and keeping people going. I literally don't think the music stopped once over a 3 hour period and neither did the dancing. At the end of the night everyone retired outside for a bonfire and smores. It was a very long day needless to say but we had so much fun and we thank everyone for helping and making the day memorable... Thanks to Bethany and Nick and their families as well!     Enjoy
